Education for Ecological Transformation

Nayaneethi Policy Collective (NPoC) led the project management of the Education for Ecological Transformation initiative, in collaboration with Venture Village Education Solutions. This program aimed to instill environmental awareness and sustainability thinking among school students through interactive learning experiences.

 

Implemented across four schools: Rajagiri Public School (Ernakulam), Alif Global School (Markaz Knowledge City), MES Fatima Rahim Central School (Kaithapoyil), and MES Central School (Thalassery), the program engaged young minds on critical themes of climate change, ecological balance, and the role of youth in shaping a sustainable future.

 

NPoC ensured end-to-end management of the program: coordinating logistics, facilitating partnerships, and providing trained facilitators, including Tamil-speaking educators where needed. Our trainers created dynamic learning spaces where students reflected on environmental issues and contributed bold, innovative ideas rooted in their local context.

 

The project was a vibrant confluence of policy, pedagogy, and practice, merging ecological literacy with participatory education. Through this effort, we reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing future leaders equipped with both knowledge and conscience.

 

This initiative reflects NPoC’s strength in delivering values-based, impact-oriented projects that bridge education, environment, and equity.
